A reliable and tough technology

This motor is equipped with gears and SPI joint for waterproofness of the axis and the SKF bearings.

The moteur has an internal freewheel : you can cycle freely on flat roads with no resistance when you pedal and no regeneration issue of the battery.

The finishing touches of the motor, the controller and the accessories is perfect. In terms of performance, the equivalent is the motor Bafang BPM2 (Vicky 4).


A motor set up in our workshop by professionals

Our team of professionals sets up the motor in its rim with made to measure spokes. We chose a Mach1 or Rigida double wall rim in aluminium with spokes of 2.3mm.
The whole of the kit (motor, controller and accessories) has been tested in our workshop for your safety and peacefulness.
After setting up your own tire, you can directly fix the motor on your bike instead of the original wheel.

Thanks to the waterproof connector of the motor, you can easily and quickly set up and remove your motor, very useful in case you get a flat tyre.

The kit is supplied with all the accessories necessary : the controller 36v/48v 25A (600 to 1200w), the Pedelec (when I pedal = it activates the motor) and the LCD display v2.

The throttle and the E-brakes are optional as they are not necessary for your motor to do the job.



Use your motor with the Pedelec (recommended !)

The Pedelec is a pedalling sensor set up at the level of the bottom bracket and connected to the controller : it triggers the electric assistance when you pedal. There are 5 different packs of Pedelec, to adapt to all types of vehicles.

3 types of throttles

To adapt to all situations, the kit can work with 3 types of throttles :a half-twist throttle, a thumb throttle or a side throttle.

Warning, the use of the throttle doesn't prevent you from pedalling, you shouldn't let the motor overdo it, particularly uphill, otherwise you could make some part of the kit overheat.



Freins à disque et V-brake

...Disk or V-brakes ?


The motor is compatible with both

You can use the disk of your own bike and directly screw it on the motor. The motor is compatible with any size (diameter) of disk. The fixing system of the disk obeys the norm IS2000 (6 screws).

If you have V-brakes, you can use them with 26" and 28" rims.

Note : the 27,5" rims for MTB (ETRTO XX-584) are only compatible with disk brakes.

Warranty

This product is under warranty for one year (12 months) from the purchase date provided it has been used according to the recommendations (see our General Conditions of Sale).

There is no warranty for the wear and tear pieces such as bearings, cables, rims, spokes, connectors, fuses, sheath, tires, brake pads etc.

A heat-sensitive label


to warn you in case of overheating !

To help you master the power, we put a heat-sensitive label on each controller. This label has temperature sensors which will blacken irreversibly according to the levels :

  • Level 0 : no circle is black, the exterior temperature of the controller is less than 60°C. The material is used conventionally, no risk of overheating.
  • Level 1 : the first circle is black. The exterior temperature of the controller is 60 to 65°C which means +5°C at the level of the electronics components (mofsets). It is a sign of overheating, you need to reduce the power immediately and ventilate the material.
  • Level 2 : the second circle is black. The exterior temperature of the controller is 65 to 70°C which means +5°C at the level of the electronics components (mofsets). You've reached the limit, you need to stop the vehicle immediately. A repeated and extened use in these conditions increase the failure risks linked to overheating, at the level of the controller, the motor or the battery.
  • Level 3 : the third circle is black. The exterior temperature of the controller is 70 to 77°C which means +5°C at the level of the electronics components (mofsets). You've gone over the use conditions, the contractual warranty does not cover your material any more. The risk of short-circuit is very important.

From the second level, the electronics components deteriorate and the lifespan of the kit is reduced, the performances of the kit can diminish. From the third level, the internal heat distorts the cables, the controller may not be waterproof anymore.

Soyez vigilant

For safety reasons and to use your kit in the best conditions and for the longest time, we recommend a reasonable use of the power of the motor : never use the maximum power for an extended period of time, only occasionnally. Do not cycle uphill too fast if you can not pedal efficiently. Kits are for electric assistance, they do not transform your bike into a motorbike.

Our technical team will provide you a return number (RMA) to write on your parcel.

No return will be accepted without preliminary consent with a return number to put on your parcel.

The returns must be done by the customer with insurance. Cycloboost is not responsible for any damaged caused during the shipment. The products damaged can not be refunded.

Keep the original packaging of your product for an exchange or a refund. Your product must be returned as good as new : complete, no scratch, clean !

Livraison & tarifs


Delivery and preparation of the orders

The delivery of an order includes the preparation (72h00 max) AND the shipment (from 2 to 5 days) for metropolitan France.


Preparation of your parcel :

The preparation delays of your parcels are 72h maximum after your order has been paid for on our website and provided the article is in store.

This delay can vary according to the product requested (especially for bikes, scooters and trailers). For more details, you need to check the description of each article.

In case of payment by check, the delivery delay will depend on the time needed to cash the check. This can take 10 days and is added to the preparation delay of the order.



The shipment of your order

According to your order, we will choose the most suitable mode of transport :

For order of less than 30kg and standard dimension (one kit and/or one battery), the forwarder is GLS. The delivery delay is generally 48h00 (72h00 max).

For bigger and heavier orders (several kits, bike, scooter...), we can use a forwarder (Geodis, DHL, Schenker...). The delivery delay is 72h00 to 5 days.

We will supply the information to help you track your parcel.

We recommend to gather your purchases in one order. We can't gather 2x distinct orders and you will need to pay the freight costs for both.

The parcels are insured andprotected.



Reception of the parcels


What should you do when you receive your parcel :

If the parcel is damaged, report it to the forwarder and clearly specify the problem on the delivery sheet : « damaged motor » or « damaged battery », « cut cable »… and refuse the parcel. The mention « damaged parcel » is not enough to get an exchange or refund.


What should you do if you notice a problem 24h00 after receiving the parcel :

Your parcel seems undamaged on the outside, but once open, you notice damaged products. Send us 3x pictures : a picture of the parcel (damaged or not), a picture of the label, a picture (or more) of the damaged part.

Contact us 48h00 after receiving your damaged parcel and transfer all the details so we can deal with it.

The shipping costs include :

  • the handling of the packaging of the products
  • the cardboard box and the protection moss
  • the shipping costs to your place
  • the shipping insurance at its real cost
